  Meh, at 15 I was in a design studio, learning how to spec up copy for phototypesetting, operate a PMT machine, make halftone artwork for newspapers, draw up artwork boards and overlays, hand render 6pt serif type on layout paper with rotring .25 nibs...

  ... now you just switch on a computer and build up layers in photoshop until it looks a bit bonkers.

  • Yeah, I worked in a small-run litho press. We had stones as well as photo-litho plates. It was a great way to learn the industry.
