About the Owner:
I have been a Professional Fire Captain for 22 years in a city of just over 60,000 residents. Before this I was a volunteer fire fighter with a small department for 7 years.
In 1996 my Chief asked his resident computer geek, ( me ), if I knew anything about building Web Sites. After telling him no, I was given the task of creating a site for our department. After a lot of research I was able to get a site up. Then the real work began. It turned out building it was the easy part. Making it work and getting search engines to pick it up was the hard part. Now, 9 years later, I have turned this into my retirement business, specializing in search engine optimization. The business has grown from that one site to at one time 40 active sites. Web businesses come and go, so the number varies but at this writing we have 33 active sites, with 3 new sites pending.
The business has grown large enough that I have trained my daughter to design and maintain sites also.
I have been told: " If you don't charge enough for your work, people tend to think your work is inferior!"
If you hold to this belief you are missing out. We charge $35.00 an hour for our services. Local designers charge as much as $65.00 an hour. If I had no other source of income, I would be charging more. If you would prefer, you can come back after I retire and have raised my prices.. If you like what you see and appreciate a discount, then we are here for you now.
My hobbies are hunting birds and metal detecting. The picture is of me and my pride and joy, Burns Purple Rose, (right ). The pup on the left is "Trouble ". Trouble followed me everywhere. I had him for 1 month just to help out one of my clients with training. That's me in the center. :-)
Having so many sites that are retriever sites, it only made sense that I have one of my client's dogs.
