it was strange here. I live about 80 miles from chicago in milwaukee (beer, harley davidson, happy days for the europeans) The streets were super quiet for a while and then it seemed like there was just an explosion of people out in the streets downtown after about noon. Guys on the corner selling extra editions of newspapers and that sort of thing. it was very weird. I was talking to a friend yesterday and he said that it is imossible for him to go one day wothout thinking about that fateful day (especially when it is also mama's birthday), I agree with him.
