i remember that night, it was completely silent in the streets near my friends house (which are usually quite noisy by lots of passing people..)
when i cycled to him at night i saw a bunch of asian(chinese) exchange students publicly laughing there asses off outside and having a good time... same for some tourists in restaurants here and there.. it appeared they knew nothing about the whole tragedy at all. some people never watch the news!
(note for US readers: it was late afternoon here in NL when the horror happened)...
