I live in an area that has a lot of cop hate. I've never understood it. I've been pulled over whilst driving loads of times, each time I answer the questions they ask, act appropriately and leave within 10 minutes. I've stopped on the street 3 or 4 times, same thing there. If you've got nothing to hide, why act like a dickhead and create a problem?
A mate of mine is a young black guy who drives a mercedes compressor. He lives in a part of town where drugs, guns and violence are rife, and unfortunately, a very high proportion of these crimes are committed by young black males due to the population of the area. He's been pulled over numerous times and every time he does he gives the police shit and tells me - fucking police this and fucking police that, who are they, they have no respect blah blah blah. I try and explain that unfortunately he fits the stereotype criminal that the police have to deal with in the area, so naturally he is going to be stopped. But he doesn't agree, he says they're all racist pigs. I tell him to just answer their questions as he's got nothing to hide, yet he almost 'gets off' on abusing a figure of authority.
