where were you?
i was working on a brochure for a company that makes displays
for airports.. had a Boeing approaching the airport tower as an illustration on top..while i was working my best friend called.. completely paniced, a plane has crashed into a WTC tower, and urged me to turn on the telly.. just minutes after i put on the telly a second plane crashed in the other tower.
Then later that day i called the client and they said i should continue working on the brochure (deadline was that afternoon) and that they would stick with the plane/tower illustration.
A year later they went with a completely different brochure that was actually printed, mine was not. :/
at least i got paid.
never forget that day.
