Well, let's be clear. Amazon is a portal for many private resellers - many of whom aren't trustworthy. Unfortunately, Amazon corporate has fallen short in setting up a strong user satisfaction scorecard system. Otherwise, I've found that ordering through Amazon's warehouse system can be simpler than asking my neighborhood bookstore to special order an item for me.
