Very stylish yes. Efficient or practical no. Building a square structure with no basement dug into the ground and with the exterior wall being mostly glass, this is one of the biggest DONT's in efficient, green building.
My brother built his own home, its round, in the mountains and has an insulation ration higher than any home on the market. It costs him $25-30/ month to heat his entire 4000ft2 home, vs this place which I'm sure uses excessive fossil fuels and wood burning and probably runs in the high $100's/month to heat/cool.
Its a cool place, I dig the style. But form can follow function. Have a look at a little place I like to call SCANDINAVIA. fer focks saké.

    • oh I forgot to mention my bro's house sees consistent temps below 0F for 4 months/yrthreadpost
    • and in the summer, temps get over 100, yet it stays a cool 75. lickety split, no shit.threadpost
