Clear Care is the weirdest thing ever. It's supposed to clean and disinfect your contacts overnight, making them seem new again when you put them on (you use the solution in a special container every two weeks or so). Turns out you can't put the solution in your eyes. I tried this in the morning (without reading the tiny print that warns you), and my eyes burned for a good minute or so. When I put the solution in the container with my contacts, there was a bubbling action that is supposed to clean your contacts. You let it occur for 6 hours + and then you can apparently wear them without using other solution (I guess the solution somehow changes in those hours).
Micro-filtered hydrogen peroxide - 3% (active ingredient)
Sodium chloride - 0.79%
Stabilized with phosphoric acid and Pluronic 17R4 (cleaning agent)So strange.
I'm about to test the contacts now to see if the burning will still be there.
- Yea, I've heard about that. Never sounded safe to me. :X********
- Then again, I keep my contacts in for weeks/ months at a time - and I'm supposed to throw them away every day.********
- The reviews online claim it's awesome, so I will give it a chance.
I have the monthly ones, and my eyes can feel them dying.Jaline - eyes can tell when they are dying.Jaline
- I think I've just learned to live with blurry vision, and my eyes hurting a lot, haha.********
- haha, same. It would be nice to see things (like in the shower) without contacts, lolJaline
- Haha yea, I can't stand being blind as a bat. Running into things, not being able to discern shapes, haha.********
- I constantly run into things. I can only find my family by their colour, hahahahaJaline
