I am writing to express my interest in applying and completing a three month internship at your design firm this summer. My current studies in graphic and web design have reached a point where I feel an internship would greatly further my practical knowledge and experience in my chosen fields.
My name is Gregor Orbino, currently a second semester sophomore at San Mateo High School in San Mateo, California. I own and operate my own website at gregorbino.com, which is a portfolio of my work. You need to include something about why you chose that particular place, how it appeals to you, how you would fit in etc, make it more personalized to them... and be careful about repeating the same words (current, field, etc), no need to restate things...- she reads the 1st and last sentence only
