I'm in the office today. It is so quiet here, the air is off so there's no ambient noise like there is on a typical day.
I could've / should've taken the day off but I have bills to work on for my clients.
It's such a relief to be on the first day of a new work year. Being that I have to bill hours and have targets and all that, I love the sense of starting a fresh new year. Last year was my first full year in the job I started in November 07. I know so much more now about how to meet my targets than when I started. it's refreshing.
