Did you know that America was the first country to impose emissions charges on domestic vehicles, way back in 1972, therby ending the big block muscle car era who's massive V8's were too polluting?
Europe first looked at the problem in the mid 90's and began taxing higher emissions vehicles nearer to the end of the century.
Funny how America is always considered the bad man.
