i like the shape in your first post. make the characters more legible. start making the shield shape more into a W mimicking the K and H. work on the K and H mimicking the resulting W. balance them...some nice shape games in this constellation.
I like 'brush', because of the punk character. I read it as intended. but look for another brush...maybe you find some inspiration in the helmet patterns, structures posted before.
I read the 'bomb' shape to in it too...very martial
