Gave up on the 18th December last year. Read about a story in the papers about someone suffering with enphysemia. Really sad. Anyway, read that and that was it.
I suffer with asthma you see and apart from the obvious (cancer) enphysemia would be a higher risk for someone like me.
The Irony of it now is, I hardly ever suffer from asthma after stopping smoking. Stopped without any aid - patches, gum etc. got through the cold turkey part and totally over the addictive element of it. Give it up!
