look someone made a whole blog in flash http://www.hornallanderson.com/?… and it has body text in fancy fonts.
There are plenty of useful things that can be done in flash, but it got a bad reputation when most of the content that required the plugin was ads, intros and insanely annoying microsites. YouTube and flash video sorta saved it though.
