At first I thought "Hey, neat" ('cos I'm interested in media designers crossing over into product design and also I thought - hey I could nick this and do my own.. ;).
But then I watched the video.
Surely a prop-solution for use on airplanes should have a significant grip on the support surface? The carefree product spin at the end shows up a major flaw (imo) - if there's any turbulence - whoosh! Off zips your iPhone.
As someone who utterly lost their mp3 player on a plane this time last year, after it slipped off my lap during final descent and slid off to God only knows where, I appreciate the depth of the problem.
I've already formulated a solution, pended a patent application and will be making iBend+dontslips available via the innernets for only $5.99.
