I have never heard of Canoma....
Motion tracking software such as Boujou can create very simplistic reconstructions of video for the purpose of shadow casting.
However, motion tracking software requires video footage that shows a variety of viewpoints (handheld, dollies, etc), thus allowing for the X,Y,Z coordinates to be estimated through contrast.
If you are serious, I would recommend modeling what you see in the photograph.
