I tell you what specifically I enjoyed about Darjeeling Ltd. I enjoyed being on the train, I enjoyed watching the beautiful and sexy as hell sikh lady and I liked getting a taste of an indian rail journey because I have never been to India and I love Indian stuff. So I liked the film. I liked the film in the same way as I like documentaries of Michael Palin travelling to exotic locations... I have to look over Palin's shoulder and I have to concentrate hard to ignore Palin's verbose self-effacing adulation of self, in order to pick up the sounds and voices of what's going on behind him in the exotic place of interest that he is humbly trying to blot out.
Darjeeling ltd was great, it would have been greater without the penis nose man, the art garfunkel man and the oily man, and then it would have been even greater without Bette Middler/Barbara Streisand/ Anjelica Houston appearing towards the end.
