uncertain people often work the hardest. just like self-taught people.
because they work in the ever present sense of pain and even agony. the agony of always feeling behind. like one doesn't know enough. like one's work will never be recognized. in graphic design one's work hardly ever gets recognized at all. we are merely wrapping up the presents behind the counter. we don't even handle the payments. they never notice us. unless we fuck up. then we get shit. and if we do our work excellently, the one receiving the present will say "hey, nice wrap!", and the giving person says "yeah, i got it from this and that company", if you're lucky, because usually they just try and take the credit themselves.oh what the fuck am i rambling on about?
