sounds to me like you and your girl have too much added pressure on your relationship to enjoy each other. ask her to be your friend and see if you can relax around the subject of the future enough to enjoy the present.
also, her age isn't a concern really. people go through their entire life without love or the right person at their side. you can't force it and you're extremely lucky to have it when you do.
