    - for gramme

Wilmington is a pretty sweet place to live. It's small. There are a few good studios, and even fewer good designers. Once I moved here, I found work quickly. But there's a decent little art scene, with multiple showings and exhibitions happening every couple of months. There are a lot of film industry folks here. Some of 'em are cool, others think we're just a steppingstone to their Hollywood fame. The Cucaloris film festival is a blast though. The music scene is ok. It's mostly metal and hiphop with some rootsy bluegrass bands here and there. Downtown nightlife has a lot going on for such a small town and the beach bars can be a blurry blast. Most of the younger people here moved down from the midwest or northeast. Drive 45 minutes down to South Carolina and it feels like a complete different world.

The winters are mild, and summers are simply paradise. Wrightsville beach is beautiful...with many hot females to boot. The surf isn't as consistent as the outer banks (cape hatteras), but we get a decent swell a few times a month, especially if you know the right spots. Our serious surf happens in the fall. We live for it!

Hope this novel of a post helps :)
