hmmyeah, is there some kind of general formula for saying this is rush or not ?

For example, for every hour of work needed, add 1 day... so if someone wants something that i think will take 3 hours sooner than 3 days, then i charge rush fees... if its a 20 hour job, 20 days... hmm maybe thats not perfect...

So how about, from 1 to 10 hours , if needed before 1 week = rush
    for 11 to 20 , if needed before 2 weeks = rush...

Or it could be a bit more complex... for example, lets say that typically i work/manage up to 3 project at the same time, this means that my 8hour day is split in 3 ( ~ 2.5 hours per day per project ) so, this means, if a client ask for a 10 hour job : 10 / 2.5 = 4, it would take me 4 days to do this job IF i bump one of my other current projects ... so if its needed under 4 days then its rush... hmm i dont know... im just trying to figure out some formula so that im consistent and can explain to the client how it works..

How do you guys figure out rush jobs ? regardeless of the work type involved based on the time required...
