i gave away my secret invasion books. i was annoyed by the crap ending and all that build up for what?!? it just ended rather poorly.
a typical bendis ending... mehim also not really into the dark reign that coming for 2009.
all the books i usually read i will now probably drop as the character rosters on those books are dramatically changing to all the dumb characters...ive been reading a lot of the reviews in the comic book blogs and mostly every post matches my own in regards to the secret invasion storyline... it started out great in #1 and quickly fizzled out by #8... i mean #1 had BOOM!! ZOOOM!! BANG!! KAPOW!!! there were Skrulls everywhere!!!! and they had warships and every power imaginable and they still lost!??! wat the hell!!?! and killing a founding member avenger and not giving her enough pages towards her death was bad...
sorry flav but i am not a fantastic four fan at all and i was really annoyed that the FF4 had so many pages in #8 towards them and 3 panels of the baxter building rebuilding itself?!?? stupid!!! they could have easily had those panels focusing on the death of the wasp or even seeing new captain america bond with thor...
speaking of thor... what exactly did he do?? i couldnt see any of it from the panels...
these giant cross over books always end poorly... to show all the people who were taken by skrulls just hanging out in the war ship above was ok but show us where they were being held not just hanging out in a room like they had all the freedom to figure it out... i wish i seen them all in test tubes with wires and machines all around them in captivity and or dead, for them to just all be alive was dumb...
meh...
end rant...
- To be honest, there shouldn't have even been a Secret Invasion: Fantastic Four, series. It seemed to be an afterthought.********
- afterthought. It held almost zero reasoning and could have been incorporated in the main arc.********
