As far as money, go with a 5000 class HP. I used to work as a signmaker between jobs, and I found that HPs were the industry standard for sign-making. You'll find that any of the upright HP models (honestly, the model numbers are just escaping me right now) will accomplish most of what you've listed.

As far as doing window graphic, you're going to need a vinyl cutter and a transfer dock as well. That's two other machines on top of the regular color printer. The vinyl cutter will run you a couple G's. The transfer dock and a healthy stock of transfer paper will cost you anywhere from 1.5 to 3 grand.

    • Granted I could be wrong, and there might be some all-in-one solution available on the market now for printing/vinyl.dMullins
    • I believe that some Rollands will also cut.pylon
