It was built for social sites, but it has a lot more functionality than just that. Plus it is built on the Firefox engine so it runs most of Firefox's add ons which is nice. I love it. My most favorite feature is how there is a button near the address bar that lights up every time a page or a search can be put into my rss feed. One click and it is done.
