Digdre,
Traditionally people hate CSm graduates becuase traditionally CSm was like a hothouse environment for creative excellence. The upshot of this was that throughtout the 70's and 80's you were almost guaranteed to get an amazing job when you graduated from there, but on arrival at said job it would become abundantly apparent to everyone around that you could barely daub your own name with a wax crayon.
CSM produced eccentric, hysterical, delusional loons prone to what psychologists call 'magical thinking', and yet somehow they always managed to wing it thanks to the old school network out there who were only willing to employ CSM graduates.
Consequently CSM students are always despised by the more grounded and practically educated graduates of LCP, Chelsea or Ravensbourne. To them it was like watching an LSD dosed gibbon in an Amy Winehouse wig take their much coveted job at the agency of their dreams.
