Oh no, I'm going to say it: Bob Dylan is overrated. Yikes. I know, blasphemy, but, Dylan is just very one-note. He had one admittedly good idea, but beat it like a dead horse, sometimes within the same song. I can't tell you how many Dylan recordings would be substantially improved if at least 10 of the 30 verses were removed. Also – and I'll admit this isn't a problem with Dylan per se – but critics tend to be so enamored of him as An Important Artist, so head-over-heels, that they're completely blind to the mediocrity of most of his later work, a lot of which sounds like watered-down Budweiser blues sung by a chain-smoking, mummified old man. OK, let the flaming begin!

    • I'll be the first to counter that. Have you heard his last 2 recent albums including the one about to come out? Have you ever seen any of the documentaries? The dude is a total baddass.peddy28isgreat
    • Wow, I was just going to say about the same thing.CyBrain
