Dion is an idiot and an embarrassment. He was a failure as a Liberal party leader, so why should he become PM like this? He's not capable. If the Liberals are hell bent on doing this, elect a new, more capable leader first within the party.

Although Harper is not great, he's somewhat more capable than Dion and its what Canadians voted on. Like it or not.

To have Liberals come in and increase spending now would be a disaster. And a stimulus package is a band-aid, not a solution. Plus, do you really think our government looking a bit unstable to the world will help any economic conditions. C'mon, get real. There is nothing more important than stability right now, be it a company, bank or government.

Hopefully, it's all posturing like a union going to the company and threatening strike if they don't get what they want. Doing this would be political suicide in the long term.

Jaline, you out there? Working in Ottawa, whats the feeling there?

    • how is harper better if he's not doing anything about the economy and doesn't have a majority of votes to begin with?KwesiJ
    • seems like a pretty measly PM, Canadians in general did NOT vote conservative, hence the meaning of a coalition.KwesiJ
    • You think Dion is the answer? You think left wing spending is the answer now?ETM
    • i have to say it seems not like liberal spending but big business spending. its just the libs who can do it proper.KwesiJ
    • but thats what makes it pretty fishyKwesiJ
