OK, I give up on night photography. I went out twice this week and it's too cold and/or windy and/or my camera is being stupid (sucking in the light and the shots all look orange) and/or we can't find parking so we must rush the photography so that cops don't get us and/or it's too annoying to commute downtown to get decent shots.
I have some good ones, but it's nowhere near the expectations I had for myself going in. So I may just do a day vs. night thing, or just do some nice day shots.
What's funny is that my "friend" in the class basically copied my idea (and I answered all of his questions regarding night photography before he went out to shoot, since he claimed that he had never done night shooting before), and his shots turned out really well. I know I shouldn't be too upset, but I can't help but be a little pissed off about the whole thing. I would never reveal this to him, of course, but he does let me know all the time about how I should stop putting so much detail into my projects because blah blah bleh [insert excuse here]. It's obvious that he's a bit bothered by how I always get better marks. Hey, it's not my problem if you decide to look at my computer screen when I am checking my marks, or if you look over at my evaluation sheet to see my mark, or if you ask me outright what my mark on a project was.
- Or that you put your evaluation sheet up on the overhead projectorlocustsloth
- Or that you do the "i got better marks" dance 10 inches from his facelocustsloth
- hahaa.
When computers are in play everyone knows what you are doing even more so.Jaline - I see the entire row of students across from me playing games in every class.Jaline
- Or that you play "Hold on to the Night" by Richard Marx really loud, stop it and say "My marks are even better than THAT!!"locustsloth
- I think having a bit of OCD helps too. I should tell him that he should be happy he doesn't have a "disease"...Jaline
- I don't know that song or that artist.Jaline
- ok i'm donelocustsloth
