    i just watched a doc on Tesla and this guy was a monster, he had 700 patents including the induction motor and the first military radio devices, he ivented alternating currents, made some of the first xrays and catscans and was talking about interplanetary communication in the 1800s. he was funded by JP morgan to build this tower that was supposedly going to be able to transmit energy wirelessly but was shut down because it's easier to gauge and charge for wired energy. Makes you wonder what sort of technology exists now that will never be publically in use.
