I like it. It does look a bit 80s or 90s, but I do like that "naturally messy" look (I put it in quotation marks since you usually have to style your hair for it to look messy in an even way). It also depends on your complexion.

I disagree that short hair is more difficult to maintain. I had short hair for my entire life until the last few years. Now that I have long hair, it takes me like 20 minutes extra every morning to wash and straighten my hair (it's wavy, naturally). I don't have much time to let my hair dry by itself (so I use a hairdryer, which makes my hair look like a huge mess unless I straighten it). The messy look works better with short hair.

Also, about the weather: just because having shorter hair in the summer makes you feel more cool doesn't mean it works the opposite way for the winter time. I don't find there to be some huge difference with long hair and warmth. If anything, it's actually more annoying since it's windy and, unless you put it up, the hair will get in your face all the time.

    • it takes me a TON more time in the morning to do my hair longmegE
    • Short hair for the sexy win. Long hair for the getting it caught in your throat when doing it wild style win.chossy

    • I'm fine with grabbing long or short hair, but long usually clogs up the bathtub and get's in my corn flakes.5timuli
