When the news first broke it was terribly sad and you couldn't help but ask yourself why it had to happen to someone who seemed so nice and was always interesting and creative. Looking through his site and flickr pics you can begin to see that despite what is obviously not an enviable condition, something enviable has come out of it, he looks happy and serene. From living in NYC amongst the 'cool' people and the 'creative scene' he has been forced to move out to a simpler life, where perhaps having the latest designer gadget or helvetica poster isn't *shock horror* the most important thing, but where hopefully things go slower and you have time to reflect, time to breathe and time to enjoy your life and the people around you.
