a guy here just went through a similar process.
some no name company/business at first offered him 1500 for it. he said no. then they came back with 5k. he said no and sat on it a bit. 2 weeks later they came back with 15k and he sold it.
he comes to find out that a hollywood movie studio now owns the domain name. they must have paid a no-name company to purchase it for them, then transfered the domain to them. it makes sense, if a giant corporation wanted to buy his domain he would have had them put another zero or two on the end.
so, be warned and good luck.
- i forget the domain name but it's the same name as some old movie title. now we think they're going to remake the movie.kona
- still 15k is pretty amazinWeLoveNoise
- normally the film studios would just buy a cheap alternative, they are pretty tight.skt
- they'd go konathemovie.comrafalski
