Funny - my housemates and I were just talking about this. We live with a couple (in London - for reference) who don't (and never have) owned a computer, both in their early 30's. They don't surf, don't have email (only use mobile phones) and only watch the freeview channels on TV (no cable, no satellite).
It's really weird in a way because they only get their information from the mainstream media, they quite literally see only 30% of the big picture.
We constantly have conversations about what we saw either on QBN, Twitter or any other countless websites and they just don't have a clue. Most of their references are at least a week or two old.
So - yeah, ignorance may be bliss but I just can't support it. I feel sorry for them.
