I find it incredible that there is more people on Firefox than IE, I can't believe that, so for that reason I agree. It all depends on the target audience.
I went ahead and picked one of my clients, instead of my own site.
They are a popular nightclub here in san diego, and their stats are:IE 7= 45%
IE 6= 27%
FF2= 13%
Saf= 6%
FF3= 2%
Moz= 1%
