If you ever think you are anything other than a resource cow to a staffing agency, think again.
They might even be "really nice" to you. But I would be really nice to somebody too if they were giving me 30-50% of their paycheck and I had to do little in return.
If you start grumbling a bit and maybe ask what they're billing the client, you're about to hear some great lines of BS.
Many will say just about anything to make you commit to their process one step further. As long as they think they can get away with it, or smooth it over later. Pure salesmanship.
