got this software the other month. it's actually pretty in depth and versatile for a portable music solution. yes you can plug the headphone out on the DS into a mixer/effects/etc and use it live. (and i have.) sure it's limited, but it's a music software that runs on a handheld game system and for that it shines. i found it much easier to get into then nitrotracker (homebrew ap). it's simple to sequence some beats and get something going. also, makes good use of the touch screen functionality of the DS.. mini kaos pad.
