You definetly don't have to listen to me, but if I sorta feel like you've gone the most obvious route. It's okay, don't get me wrong. I dig the E, your starting to get at speed with line weights, colors are getting closer... But really this feels very concept light.

It's not very memorable, given its obvious nature, and the overuse of the standalone wings as logos. It's not 'ownable' (I.E. it's very much an icon still, not a logo.. this would work just as well for a Hawk, or really any bird of prey, minus your little hidden "E"), its just very expected. I feel like 100 highschools use a logo similar to this for there football team. For a school project, your probably looking at a decent grade, yadayada, but it just feels like what were looking at is the first step in the ideation process, I feel like its something that you would draw on the first sheet of paper you got.

If your struggling for direction, I would try to go deeper, away from the physical traits of the eagle... and see where it gets you, you might have to rely on the physical traits in the end, but experimenting will get this logo a lot further.
