i think in this situation analogies are pointless, especially for making an argument for or against the automotive bailouts.
so these ceo's are expensing their flights - what's new? is it newsworthy? i think so. should it determine whom or how the government bails them out? i don't think so.
on the actual subject though, i've never been a fan of big govt, but on larry king m. moore proposed having the government mandate the 'type' of cars these automakers were manufacturing (ie. feul efficient, small, etc.), on the argument that their poor choices in the past has got them where they are. i think this is a good decision. and more importantly, it let's thousands in that industry keep their jobs.
