Carbon allowances. This is where the money is. This is better than snake oil, this is selling air. Nada. Zip. For huge millions. They must love this game, it's the perfect scam and they're gaining electoral points for saving the world. Brilliant.
Most quota are issued for free and can be resold, some are auctioned to get the ball rolling and feed the tax man.
It is happening right now as we speak, British govt. sold £60m of these yesterday. They're not even hiding it anymore the money collected is not going into environmental issues:
