What's wrong with believing in yourself?
As a designer I could fill the first three places in the Designer of the Year Awards :PLike Jnr said - i'm sure it was meant on a funny level and maybe is lost in translation.
I'm sure his belief in himself is on a sound level as he does seem a funny and sound person.
It's the likes of Beckham though that I bet you he truly believes he is the best and should be rewarded accordingly by the world.
