  How do scientists earn their wages joeth, do you think they work for nothing?

  What I'm trying to say is that all scientists' "findings" don't exist in isolation, they exist in a world where they can be "swayed" one way or the other by many differing forces, including economic, social, political and probably most worryingly, peer pressure.
