i grew up in cincinnati. Lightborne does motion graphics and they are notorious for treating their employees like crap. They also have never turned a profit. I use to work for Barefoot Advertising. they where pretty good to work for. If you can work directly for P&G as a designer its the best deal in town because you'll be doing the same work if you where working at a design firm but you get paid 4x as much. My brother works in the design area in cincinnati and my sister works for P&G as a designer in Baltimore. The benefits are great and there is opportunity to be transfered anywhere else in the world.
I personally would never want to work again as a designer in cincinnati. (i now work and live in new york). Cincinnati it great if you want to have a job and a family but not a good place to become a kick ass designer. P&G doesn't inspire kickass design and thats the biggest client in town.
