If you're placing the image onto a background in Indesign I've found that the colour can shift when its printed, even if it has the exact same colour value. I don't know why this is, or if it's just ropey printers.
What I'd do is extend the image bg to the size that you will actually need it in indesign, and use just the image, don't try to match it with an indesign swatch. Hope that makes sense!
