    I've always thought it was harder to find talented people. Maybe RD has been through the same situation so many times that he really just didn't want to waste his time with small agencies saying the same ole same ole to him. Maybe he already had a few offers from companies willing to offer good pay. The AD, who should know the range of what they are willing to pay already, should have been more professional, even though RD was not entirely correct. He should have mentioned a 'range' based off of talent/experience etc. (Remember you're prolly hiring him for his RD abilities and not his phone talk abilities). Now AD has potentially lost any chance of working with RD and prolly will have a really hard time finding another RD. RD might have been a totally different person than this short 20 second convo. RD just wanted some time to think about it, AD cut the convo short and sounded real obnoxious. I've always learned it best to never burn bridges, no matter what, with both ends of the stick.
