I waitressed at a golf course while i was in high school and we had a celebrity golf tournament - I met Archie Griffen, Eddie George, Frank OHarris, Chris Carter, Mike Vrabel (mostly Ohio State alumni)... but my favorite of the tournament was Mister Charles Barkley himself. He showed up super late and druuuuuuunk off his butt. He kept ordering martinis from me. I wasn't allowed to ask for autographs as a waitress, but I had gotten passes to the tournament for my youngest sister and dad. They went up to talk to Chuck and my sister, I think she was 10 or so at the time, asked for his autograph. He put his arm around her and said "You know? I have a daughter your age at home. And I think what I'm going to do is when she brings her first boy home - I'll shoot him, then word will get around, and it won't be a problem anymore." She awkwardly smiled and look at my dad, it was hilarous!
