two weeks ago friday i thought i was going to be unemployed. for the past 2 months it seems i've been the only one here who's had the guts (or stupidity) to speak up about the little things we can do to improve our work, environment and atmosphere of the company. seemed that one of my boss' took that as complaining and called an impromptu meeting that started with "we know you're not happy here, blah blah if this isn't working out we have to let you go."

they came at me with both barrels but i kept my cool and every curveball that they threw me i hit it out of the park with a calm, cool and concise response that put them back on their heels. half way through the meeting the tide had shifted and they were apologizing for singling me out and pretty much saying "your work sucks and you're an asshole".

at one point if i had opened my mouth without thinking i would have quit on the spot. but like i said, i kept my head because i really like it here and can see so much potential in this place.

in this market at this time of the year it would be very difficult to be unemployed. to all that are keep your chins up and keep fighting the good fight!
