I went to a weddign reception last night. Was fun, had a few mojitos and beer, watched people make a fool of themselves on the dance floor but what made it for me was the band. It was like something out of phoenix nights. The wedding dance was a-ha, 'take on me' and later on they got eclectic, 'hound dog', 'amarillo', 'enola gay', 'blue monday'.
The band played fucking Blue Monday. And did a decent job of it. Then they went back to playing the monkees.
