There's been a lot of carnage on QBN lately—the ranks are dwindling, and not always in a good way. First, the "avant-garde" challenge, where everyone but the kitchen sink showed up to help make or judge a bunch of lackluster outfits inspired by zodiac signs. All of this season's auf'd designers came back to try, really try to finally get some drama going with these folks. But alas, it was only JazX (who showed how alarmingly shallow and whiny he can be) who delivered. He was paired on a team with Fouty, and she, JazX, and her outfit went down like the Titanic. Poor Fouty, arguably one of the most prolific designers ever on the show, was a victim of the old team challenge, and not getting along with her super-jerk of a teammate.
In a twist that has been promised on QBN since its inception, Fouty wasn't the only one sent home. The dreaded double elimination finally happened, and it took Lloyd with it. Thank God. Jaline actually described his look as a joke. Given an avant-garde challenge, Lloyd took it upon himself to make something that looked like ballerina roadkill, complete with piles of ripped tulle and leather straps. I disagree with Jaline. This outfit wasn't a joke—jokes are supposed to be funny. It was an insult.
