To be honest I set goals and make up crazy things like this too. Hell, I still believe saying, "Rabbit, Rabbit", as the first words when I wake up on the first of each month brings luck.
Just be prepared to take it right back in the ass no matter what you do. These/Those fleeting moments of happiness are just that.
